Conrad O’Brien serves as solicitor to the Chester County Economic Development Council, a non-profit corporation, which, like our authority clients, is motivated to seek innovative and strategic economic development initiatives in Chester County. We have successfully strategized with the officers of the Council in connection with land development and redevelopment projects and have negotiated economic development initiative grant funding and administration contracts with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and with project owners and developers. In addition, we have provided day to day counsel on operations and business issues and served as lender’s counsel in connection with the Council’s loan programs.

The firm serves as lenders’ counsel for the South Eastern Economic Development Company of Pennsylvania, a U.S. Small Business Administration certified development company, certified to make guaranteed loans to small businesses under its 504 and 7(a) loan programs. This representation has allowed us to expand our lenders’ counsel practice to include representation of financial institutions in commercial lending.
