Biography

Alan Paul Novak focuses his practice on business and municipal law, including zoning, real estate transactions, business and corporate formation, counsel and litigation, and government relations. Alan has served as solicitor for many townships, boroughs and municipal authorities, as well as The County of Chester as special counsel. He is also solicitor of the Chester County Industrial Development Authority. Alan was the State Chairman of the Pennsylvania Republican Committee from 1996 through 2004, and previously served as Chester County GOP Chair for eight years. He served on the Bush/Cheney Commerce Department Transition Committee and was appointed by President Bush  to the President’s Advisory Commission on White House Fellows.

Mr. Novak is also President of Novak Strategic Advisors, a government and public affairs firm based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.  The firm offers comprehensive, strategic government affairs and grassroots solutions to real world business needs of clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to regional businesses.

He is regularly sought out by news media to comment on the political process. He has appeared on CNN, Fox News Network, ABC, MSNBC, Philadelphia talk radio programs, as well as many of Pennsylvania's local news programs.  He has lectured on governments and politics at various colleges and universities.
